- Curriculum Vitae:
Franz Peter Seiler studied computer science (informatics) at the Vienna
University of Technology. Since 1984 he has been active in the area of
rehabilitation technology. In 1987 he completed his diploma thesis on the
development of a translator for German language contracted Braille (Grade II) to
ASCII. Since 1988 he has been research assistant at the Vienna University of
Technology and specializes in adapted software for persons with disabilities,
computer applications for handicapped persons, informatics to help disabled
people. From 1992 to 1996 he was the head of "fortec" - Research Group on
Rehabilitation Technology at the Vienna University of Technology. His special
interest is on Human Computer Interaction and disability, modern
telecommunication services and advantages/disadvantages for persons with
disabilities, electronic document access for blind persons, mainstreaming
education.
He works since 2012 as  corporate consultant.
