What is this program for?
You may change the version-number of many version-info resource files at once. This may be useful, if you have different compile-options (e.g. languages) of one program. With this helper, all versions in many version-info files will be changed and the rc-files will be automatically compiled to res-files, which can be included/linked to the program.
Needed Environment
brc32.exe or cgrc.exe (included in the Embarcadero developer system) included in the path
What to change
To use this program, you need to switch off the version-info within the Borland IDE, create an rc-file for each compile-version (please have a look on the demo-files in the installation directory), and include/link the resulting res-file(s) to the program. You have to edit the Versionsettings.prp file once: Add one line (as shown in the demo file) containing the file-name for each rc-file. If you want to change the version number, just start VersionHelper, set the version number and click the 'Do it' Button.
